Municipalities Support

Airplane

DVAC has extensive experience supporting local governments in managing the impacts of air traffic on their communities. DVAC has worked with the Southern San Fernando Valley Airplane Noise Task Force assessing post-Metroplex noise impacts, and is currently serving the City of Newport Beach, California and working with Naples Airport Authority in Naples, Florida. DVAC provides services such as:

 

  • Noise and environmental review of current and proposed aircraft tracks

  • Procedural review and design of new and existing aircraft routes

  • Coordination with local airport authorities on current and proposed airport improvement, expansion, and other possible activities that would impact the local community

  • Provide guidance to Technical Advisory Committees, and others that are established by the municipality to comment on aviation activities and impact

  • Develop and deliver presentations for public outreach activities
